Complete One Comment on Gateshead Call Centre Jobs Creation
With news breaking that approximately 240 jobs are being created in Gateshead by a Scottish outsourcing firm, Newcastle-based Complete One has shared their thoughts and revealed how call centre experience can be leveraged at their firm.
Ago Outsourcing will be opening at Baltic Place in October. Initially, 80 staff will be recruited; however, that figure is projected to increase to 240 in the coming months. The call centre will primarily carry out outbound sales calls for Scottish Power. The Gateshead location is a part of Ago Outsourcing’s national expansion plans.
Stephen Rafferty, chief operations officer at Ago Outsourcing, said, “The main reason we decided to open here is that in a recent survey the Newcastle accent is the most well received on the telephone. For outsourcing telephone calls, the accent is the one people want to listen to.”
Ago Outsourcing’s chief executive officer Kris McGenily said: “We have been looking at various locations both in the UK and overseas and we are confident we have found the perfect location.”
With an influx of constant negative headlines surrounding job losses, primarily in the retail sector, event-marketing specialists, Complete One have welcomed the news. “It’s great for the local economy. Any new job opportunities in the area are always welcomed,” commented Glen Lowes, Managing Director at Complete One.
Complete One launched their services in the North East in 2012, and since then the company has gone from strength to strength. Managing Director, Glen Lowes is passionate about providing opportunities for aspiring professionals in the North East. Complete One has become an incubator for individuals that possess good business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
Specialising in customer acquisition through in-person promotions at events and venues across the North East, Complete One value the attributes that those from a call centre background can bring to the industry.
Those with call centre experience possess strong customer service and communication skills, both of which are pivotal for success at Complete One. Crucially, those from a call centre background also have excellent people skills. Complete One is confident that individuals with those attributes can be coached and mentored to become key players at the firm.
Complete One is an award-winning outsourced sales and marketing company based in Newcastle city centre. In a world of ever advancing technologies, Complete One offer clients something that is often lacking in today’s digital world, the personal touch. The customer service and people skills that individuals with call centre experience possess makes them an attractive proposition for Complete One and they are hoping to attract individuals from that background to assist with expansion plans for Q4.
