Growing up I lived in a small town in the North East of England called Bishop Auckland. As a child, I was always involved in sports and was an avid football fan. I have the heartache of being a Newcastle United supporter. After leaving school, I decided to follow in the footsteps of friends and applied to the local college. I studied for 3 years, gaining a trade, becoming a qualified carpenter. I then continued my studies, completing an ONC which allowed me to be able to supervise building sites.

As we all know the country suffered a massive financial decline and the building trade was hit very hard, leaving thousands, me being one of them, jobless. I tried several different paths which included working as a self-employed joiner, a musician, and an events planner. Unfortunately none of those worked out, however, it did lead me into the fastest growing industry in the world for the last 3 years, Direct Sales.

I started out in January 2011 working for a small company in Newcastle. It was during my time there that I gained all the necessary knowledge and skills to be able to manage my own business. It was only a year later, in January 2012, that I started trading. At Complete One we’ve had the privilege of working with several of the UK’s leaders within the Charity Fundraising, Energy, Film & Media, Finance and Telecommunications sectors.

In 2016 we broke the £1million turnover barrier, in 2017 we extended our market reach into two new cities, and in 2018 we have been focussed on developing our energy campaign. Looking ahead to 2019, my primary focus is to expand the Complete One brand and extend our market reach throughout the UK.

I grew up in County Durham. I oversee all of the Administration for Complete One. I have previously worked in Marketing, Recruitment and Sales. While I enjoyed most of my previous jobs, I felt like my career was at a standstill. I craved a fresh challenge. I was looking for a job where I would be constantly challenged and where I would have the opportunity to learn and progress. I applied to Complete One because of their rapid growth and big goals as I knew, if successful, this was a company I could grow with.  I am confident that the experience I gain at Complete One will help me achieve my long-term goal of running my own recruitment company.

My short-term goals are to help Managing Director, Glen Lowes, expand Complete One throughout the UK and also overseas by providing input on all administration and HR Management. As the business grows and my role changes, I hope to gain a greater knowledge of all aspects Business Management in order to better my professional opportunities.

I am excited about the new challenges that will come my way and taking on new responsibilities as the business grows.
